GIRLS GOLF ROCKS

Girls Golf Rocks is a national project where talented county golfers mentor younger girls and introduce them to all the benefits of the sport. Running in 21 counties across England in 2018, Girls Golf Rocks offers free taster sessions and group coaching courses at club level - delivered by PGA Professionals.

Girls Golf Rocks is all about attracting beginners to have fun, learn a new sport, get active and play alongside friends - with no pressure. Girl golfers from county squads act as ambassadors to share their enjoyment and inspire other girls; showing that golf is fun, competitive, but also social and a great way of making new friends.

The innovative project was first trialled successfully in Essex and is a partnership between the Golf Foundation, England Golf and the PGA At SharpShooters Golf World Stansted we offer 3 Girls Golf Rocks sessions per week, Fridays 5-6pm, Saturdays 1-2pm and Saturdays 2-3pm.

We also offer Girls Golf PlayDays throughout the year to get girls of all ages and abilities out on the course playing golf together.
