This agreement sets out the terms and conditions that will govern the relationship between us, the SharpShooter Junior Golf Academy and you the Parent/Guardian.

It is a legally binding agreement. These Rules are important to maintain standards and to ensure that all juniors gain the maximum benefit from their SharpShooter Membership. ‘SharpShooter Membership’ is your child continuing the SharpShooter sessions at Elsenham Golf and Leisure, inclusive of participation and full payment.

Any free trial (taster session) is strictly at the approval of The Sharpshooter Junior Golf Academy and subject to availability. It does not guarantee a place and holds no monetary value.

Membership offers your child one space at only one specified time per week unless previously authorised by The SharpShooter Junior Golf Academy. If you wish to change times/days we will do all we can but cannot guarantee this. 1 calendar months notice is required to change day/time of session unless previously discussed and is at SharpShooter Junior Golf Academies discretion.

Fees are due on a monthly or yearly basis. If you wish to discontinue your child’s SharpShooter Membership, you will be required to give 1 calendar months notice.

Session times and coaches may vary from time to time without prior notice.

In order to avoid disturbing classes, you and your child are requested to arrive in good time, with all appropriate equipment and their Skills Book. Your child is to wear suitable clothing and closed toe footwear to avoid injury. Flip flops, sandals and Crocs are not considered to be safe when playing golf.

A coach may, at any time, ask your child to leave a class if he/she is jeopardising the safety or enjoyment of others or their educational experience. The Academy uses a red card system.

The minimum membership period is 1 calendar month.

If you leave the Academy and wish to join again within 3 months a rejoining fee of £25 applies plus the usual monthly payment.

If we (The SharpShooter Junior Golf Academy) have to cancel a session you will receive a full refund for the missed session or will be asked to join another session to make this up or be offered a lesson of similar value.

We (The SharpShooter Junior Golf Academy) will suspend all pre-paid sessions if a child is unable to attend the Academy for 4 sessions or more due to his/her illness or injury.

In the unfortunate event that it is medically no longer possible for the child to attend any SharpShooter sessions, we will cancel the membership without any further obligation to you. A refund for any paid sessions which have not been taken is at the discretion of The SharpShooter Junior Golf Academy. We may require suitable medical evidence in the form a GP or hospital letter.

In the event that payment is not made when due the right to send your child to any SharpShooter session will be terminated until payments are brought up to date. GOCARDLESS payments may incur a fee if your bank declines payment as The SharpShooter Junior Golf Academy is protected by the direct debit guarantee. Details of which can be found on the GOCARDLESS website.

We (The SharpShooter Junior Golf Academy) will continue to assume your child requires a place until told otherwise.

Sessions between After School Golf Clubs and Academy classes are not transferable.

Replacement Skills books are a cost of £10 each.

We may terminate your membership and discontinue the child’s entitlement to attend the Academy in the event of serious or repeated breach of these membership rules.

Payment is by direct debit monthly using GOCARDLESS or for an entire year upfront. We reserve to right to suspend your membership and to exclude your child from the Academy if payment is not made.

Yearly upfront payments are non-refundable. With yearly payments upfront, the first 5 blocks are paid and the 6 block is free, you then have the right to change to direct debit the month following when your yearly payment has expired or pay another year upfront. Payment up front is non-transferable between juniors.

Direct Debits by GOCARDLESS are taken on the 1st or 2nd day of every month.

All yearly payments upfront and monthly payments by direct debit include entry to 5 PlayDays per year, subject the spaces available and £2.50 booking fee per PlayDay.

If your child’s place is cancelled by you giving notice, we The SharpShooter Junior Golf Academy will ensure that any monies owed for lessons not taken will be refunded pro-rata to payments made, similarly if monies are owed to The SharpShooter Junior Golf Academy for junior group lessons had, you the parent/guardian will be sent an invoice and by receipt of this email agree to pay this invoice promptly.

This agreement may be terminated if either party is in serious breach of its obligations to the other.

We reserve the right to use any individual or group photographs or movie shots of your child for press or promotional purposes. Where reasonably possible we will ask you to sign a use of image rights form to consent this usage. If you would not like images to be used of your child please ensure that we The SharpShooter Junior Golf Academy are notified in writing.
