UPDATED 2020 Lessons affected by Covid-19 and the closure of the club/course will be outlined in separate email correspondence. We ( The SharpShooters Junior Golf Academy will assume you the customer are in agreement with all changes due to Covid-19 unless are told otherwise upon receipt of the email and within a 7-day timeframe)
This agreement sets out the terms and conditions that will govern the relationship between us, the SharpShooter Junior Golf Academy, and the Parent/Guardian. It is a legally binding agreement. These Rules are important to maintain standards and to ensure that all juniors gain the maximum benefit from their SharpShooter Membership. ‘SharpShooter Membership’ is your child continuing the SharpShooter sessions at all venues, inclusive of participation and full payment.
Any free trial (taster session) is strictly at the approval of The Sharpshooter Junior Golf Academy and subject to availability. It does not guarantee a place and holds no monetary value.
Subscription offers your child one space at only one specified time per week unless previously authorised by The SharpShooter Junior Golf Academy. If you wish to change times/days, we will do all we can but cannot guarantee this. 1 Calendar months’ notice is required to change day/time of session unless previously discussed and is at SharpShooter Junior Golf Academies discretion. Failure to provide one months’ notice to leave will incur an administration charge of £25.
Fees are due on a monthly or yearly basis. If you wish to discontinue your child’s SharpShooter Subscription, you will be required to give 1 calendar notice. It is you (the customers) responsibility to cancel the GOCARDLESS payments and SharpShooters Junior Golf Academy will not be held responsible for failure to do so and no refunds will be given if this is not adhered to. From time to time there may be a change in fees or day/time of lessons, if you are not in agreement with these changes please advise the academy in writing within 7 days of notice of these changes, if no correspondance has been made, we ( SharpShooters Junior Golf Academy) have the understanding these changes are agreed by all parties.
A fee of £25 will be required for any cancelled GOCARDLESS subscriptions that we (SharpShooters Junior Golf) have not been pre-advised of. This fee will also occur for any GOCARDLESS subscriptions which are returned unpaid. Session times and coaches may vary from time to time without prior notice.
To avoid disturbing classes, you and your child are requested to arrive in good time, with all the appropriate equipment and their Skills Book. Your child is to wear suitable clothing and closed-toe footwear to avoid injury. Flip flops, sandals, and Crocs are not considered to be safe when playing golf.
A coach may, at any time, ask your child to leave a class if he/she is jeopardising the safety or enjoyment of others or their educational experience. This may result in instant dismissal and a refund for any fees will be at the discretion of the coach or club.
For the safety of all SharpShooter members please advise of any medical changes or injuries prior to lessons via email.
The minimum membership period is 1 calendar month.
If you leave the Academy and wish to join again within 3 months a re-joining fee of £25 applies plus the usual monthly payment.
We (The SharpShooter Junior Golf Academy) will suspend all pre-paid sessions if a child is unable to attend the Academy for 4 sessions or more due to his/her illness or injury. In the unfortunate event that it is medically no longer possible for the child to attend any SharpShooter sessions, we will cancel the membership without any further obligation on you. A refund for any paid sessions which have not been taken is at the discretion of The SharpShooter Junior Golf Academy or the club/coach. We may require suitable medical evidence in the form of a GP or hospital letter.
In the event that payment is not made when due, the right to send your child to any SharpShooter session will be terminated until payments are brought up to date. GOCARDLESS payments may incur a fee if your bank declines payment as The SharpShooter Junior Golf Academy is protected by the direct debit guarantee. Details of which can be found on the GOCARDLESS website.
We (The SharpShooter Junior Golf Academy) will continue to assume your child requires a place until told otherwise.
Sessions between After School Golf Clubs and Academy classes are not transferable.
Replacement Skills books are a cost of £12 each on www.sharpshootersgolf.co.uk
We may terminate your membership and discontinue the child’s entitlement to attend the Academy in the event of serious or repeated breach of these membership rules.
Payment is by direct debit monthly using GOCARDLESS or for an entire year upfront. We reserve to right to suspend your membership and to exclude your child from the Academy if payment is not made. Yearly upfront payments are non-refundable. Yearly upfront payments are for a calendar year from date of payment if a child wishes to suspend lessons due to serious illness or injury the above points apply. Payment upfront is non-transferable between juniors.
Direct Debits by GOCARDLESS (or bank transfer where available)are taken every month to cover 35 sessions a year. The payment is the same amount each month. The 35 yearly sessions may be moved, please do check the calendar. In the instance a class is cancelled due to illness of staff or weather, an alternative will be provided. If a private lesson is offered this must be taken within 28 days of being offered. No cash althernative will be provided.
If your child’s place is cancelled by you giving notice, we The SharpShooter Junior Golf Academy will invoice you (the customer) for any lessons taken or available and not paid for. This invoice will be due with 7 days of sending.
This agreement may be terminated if either party is in serious breach of its obligations to the other.
Photography consent forms are mandatory for all SharpShooter Juniors. Photographs children other than your own are discouraged.
Bullying, harassment, abuse, or other inappropriate behavior by you or your child or guests is strictly forbidden and will result in expulsion and such other legal remedies as may be available.
You and your child must treat all Sharpshooter members, children, staff, and coaches with respect and consideration. SharpShooters do not tolerate rude, offensive, or aggressive remarks in any way. You must make yourself and your child aware of all the safety rules and regulations at Ash Valley Golf Club and comply with these regulations always.
If you have a complaint or concern which cannot be resolved by your child’s coach or The SharpShooter Junior Golf Academy, please do contact the coach/club/SharpShooters privately and we will do our best to resolve the matter.
We reserve the right to make changes to these rules and will communicate any changes to you at the address or email specified. Proof of sending such notice shall be sufficient evidence of receipt. Please ensure we are kept up to date of any email address changes in order to continue the correspondence.
A 1 month notice period is required for termination of membership and non-renewal. It can only be given in writing to SharpShooters
All venues operate within their own guidelines and as individual SharpShooter venues and clubs. Please contact the golf club for their policies.
Coaches are not trained in the administration of epipens, inhalers or any other medical device. Golf clubs are not responsible for allergies and cannot guarantee they can cater for allergies.
If you have two children in the Academy and one child gives notice, your monthly payment will change to one without a sibling discount.
All event bookings are strictly non refundable. Including camps , PlayDays and all other events
